The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory in light of the “NaMo Run – For Viksit Delhi” event scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025. Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly as significant traffic disruptions are expected in central Delhi.

The event, which is being held to promote a “developed Delhi,” will take place from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. To ensure a smooth flow of traffic and the safety of participants, special arrangements have been put in place, leading to several road closures and diversions.

Traffic will be restricted or diverted from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on the following roads

• Delhi Secretariat Velodrome Road

• BSZ Marg

• Vikas Marg (under IP Flyover)

• JLN Marg (Rajghat, Delhi Gate)

• Kamla Market Roundabout

• Ranjeet Singh Flyover

• DDU Marg

• Rani Jhansi Road

• Panchkuian Road

• Mahatma Gandhi Marg

• Pusa Road

The advisory warns of heavy vehicle movement and traffic restrictions in and around Connaught Place and its approach roads. All citizens, especially those with travel plans in the affected areas, should take note of these restrictions and consider alternative routes during the specified time.
