Thug sets the tone for UY SCUTI by sampling the prosecution’s audio, referring to him as the “most dangerous of the 28” alleged YSL members arrested, and pleading with the judge not to let Thugger receive a bond. The YSL boss dances over cinematic production and flexes that he’s still the capo for the younger generation. The track takes a bizarre turn with Thug repeating a racial slur, which could tie back to the white-bleached version of himself on the cover art.

Between Justin Bieber’s “Sweet Spot” and Thug’s “Mami,” Sexyy Red continues to pop up on tracks that don’t utilize her skillset properly. If Thugger was set on having a female rapper alongside him here, there’s only one call he should’ve made, and that’s to the Queen in Gag City.

Whenever Thug has the chance to uplift the emerging artists around him, he has no issue stepping out of the way to let his guests take the spotlight. LilGotit has been YSL-adjacent and 1300SAINT is actually signed to the label, and the latter takes full advantage of the opportunity to shine on UY SCUTI‘s “Revenge.”

Thugger connects with the next generation for a YSL-Opium link-up alongside Ken Carson. Thug lays the groundwork behind the frightening shouts while comparing Carson to Ken from Barbie. Carson takes the baton and shines in the album’s first guest spot. “My life’s so unrated, I swear this s–t a movie/ It’s made by A24, yo’ s–t went to Tubi,” the Project X rapper brags.

Guitars and Thug singing, it’s feeling like the genre-bending Beautiful Thugger Girls entered the chat. It’s tough to find a rhythm with Thugger jumping around and utilizing various styles across the album. Mariah the Scientist makes a solid appearance and expresses her undying love for Thug, which she knows she’ll never be able to shake at this point. Even through his mistakes, Thugger wants to make this relationship work. Is a fairytale ending still on the table?

Going back a few years, nobody would’ve seen this link-up in the realm of possibilities. But there’s been growth between Thug and YFN Lucci. After both rappers served bids behind bars, they’ve put their differences aside for the greater good and unite on the triumphant “Whaddup Jesus.” Hopefully, there’s more hip-hop armistices in the future leading to good music.

“Do you know how it feel to see your face on the news?” a somber Thug repeats while ruminating on his nearly 2.5 years behind bars during the YSL RICO case. Cardi B continues her Am I the Drama? momentum and explodes on the scene to elevate “On the News.”

The Grammy-winning Bronx native opens up about a best friend switching up on her. “I lost my best friend and that n—a still alive/ I’m surprised, man, I thought that s—t would never switch/ Sometimes the realest n—a in your crew be a b–ch,” she raps in a possible jab at ex-husband Offset.

A 21 Savage-Young Thug team-up is always a welcome sight. The menacing collab is the perfect playground for the Slaughter Gang frontman. Sandwiched between a Project Pat “Bitch Smackin Killa” sample, 21 shines grits his teeth and bullies the London On Da Track production, and even references A$AP Rocky’s felony shooting case, which he was found not guilty of earlier in 2025. Ultimately, “Walk Down” lives in the middle of the pack on UY SCUTI.

After supporting Metro Boomin at his civil sexual assault trial in Los Angeles, where the producer was found not liable on all four counts, Metro and Spyder reconnect for “Fucking Told U.” Thugger feels right at home back with Metro and he released a black-and-white visual to the blaring cut to accompany the album, making it one of the early focus tracks. Per usual, Thug’s ear is on the money once again.

Thug loaded the second half of the album with star-studded features, and Travis Scott invades the sparkling beat for his first major verse since JACKBOYS 2‘s arrival. Thug is more or less going through the motions while La Flame ups the pace with an AutoTune-drenched assist, but this Cactus-Spyder team-up feels like there was meat left on the bone for something harder.

It’s tough to find a more potent duo than Future and Young Thug in rap. Every time they link-up it turns into a main event. “Money on Money” was a blockbuster affair and stamped Thugger’s comeback earlier in 2025. At some point, we need that Super Slimey sequel tape before it’s too late. For reminder’s sake, has there been a funnier/realer bar than Future claiming “if she ain’t got an AP, she is not mine?”

Prior to UY SCUTI‘s arrival, there was plenty of speculation if Lil Baby and Thug were back on good terms. Baby wastes no time clearing the air and provides one of his best verses of the year, boasting about his fleet of exotic sports cars. He gets his lick back on Thug here, after King Slime had him beat on “Dum, Dumb and Dumber.” Fittingly enough, Future was also featured on an unreleased version of “Pardon My Back,” but he didn’t make the final cut. When rap fans attempt to undercut Thug or Baby’s ability, they can point to this track as proof that neither has lost their fastball.

Thug somehow turns the “Whoopty Doo” meme into the first half of a track. A beat change courtesy of Wheezy shoots Thugger into outer space and he channels back to a throwback syrupy flow. While others continue to flex their life of luxury, Thug just isn’t impressed, and he’ll still take your girl home with him.

Stripped-down production mixed with faint female vocals ends up being some of the strongest on the album from the Swiss beat maestro, Oz. Thugger tests out his changes in pitch while even singing at points to close out “Blaming Jesus.” He points to his brothers giving him pain and turning to various coping mechanisms, while also hilariously questioning how a romantic partner could hear his tears within this love letter.

Transporting his mind back inside the dark days inside a cell, Thug’s reminded of the paranoia that came with constant lawyer visits, thoughts of his friends snitching and his mind wandering to spending the rest of his life behind bars. Thugger channels the spectrum of emotions and bottles up the chaos into “Catch Me I’m Falling, an introspective standout from the album.

While they’re also partners in real life, Mariah the Scientist and Thug bring that top-flight chemistry to the studio every time they join forces. Mariah delivers a softer R&B aesthetic that the album desperately needs and she’s in full control on the first half of the dynamic “Dreams Rarely Come True.” When that beat switches mid-way to a more trap-gospel feel, this would’ve been a perfect spot to insert Drake. Regardless, Thug’s going to generate a ton of chatter with his direct shot at Gunna. “Why would I cry over a b—h, I gave to Gunna police ass,” he spews.

There must’ve been a bubble machine in the studio when they were recording this one. Thug writes a rough draft of his will while divvying up his fortune to family members, but his wifey will get the house. Even while he’s stacked plenty of paper, the goal is still to reach Jay-Z’s level of generational wealth. T.I. seriously turns the clock back to punch in a hard-hitting verse like it’s ’06, as he reflects on his journey to becoming one of ATL’s kings. They may have let “RIP Big & Mack” run too long, with Tip using the outro as storytelling time while serving up a lesson surrounding a metaphorical donkey.

The amusing ad-libs make “I’m So Dope.” One of the funnier things about this track is that an early snippet on social media saw the song’s producer, Taurus, holding a McDonald’s bag in the clip, which Thugger ends up rapping about. Thug jokes about urinating in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, but gets serious to pay homage to Lil Keed. However, this cut probably lives more toward the bottom of UY SCUTI.

Thug lets all of his pain pour out as he wears his heart on his sleeve for the desolate “Sad Slime.” The 34-year-old looks inward while admitting he was wrong for messing with other women, feeling the pain of seeing his mom get sick and possibly takes a shot at Gunna after seeing “my brother turn rat in my face.” Thugger’s always been able to use music as a cathartic outlet in his own way, and he raised his game again on the melodic tune.

“Miss My Dogs” was the perfect palette cleanser Thugger desperately needed heading into UY SCUTI. With different narratives flying, Thug turned to music to clear the air with an apology tour, which lifted the weight of the world off his shoulders. He spares nobody, addressing the static and headlines with Mariah the Scientist, Drake, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Future and Lil Baby. At times, rap can feel like the WWE, but it doesn’t get realer than “Miss My Dogs.”
