On September 26, 2025, Piya Chakraborty took to her Instagram handle and made a collaborative post with her husband, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, revealing their 3-month-old baby boy’s cutesy face. Earlier, the couple shared glimpses of their little one, but this is the first time they have shared their baby boy’s cute little face, and they are super excited to share his unique name, ‘Nishad’, as well. They also gave another cute name, probably a nickname, Noddy. Sharing two adorable pictures of the baby boy, Piya wrote:
“Introducing Nishad (The seventh note of the musical scale/ the one who is untouched by sorrow) aka Noddy, a little boy with a big head. Isn’t he adorable?”

On November 27, 2023, Parambrata took to his Instagram handle and shared the news of his marriage to Piya. The couple married at Parambrata’s home in South Kolkata. They had an intimate registry wedding ceremony in the presence of their loved ones. The pair reportedly dated for two years before exchanging vows.
For the unversed, Piya was earlier married to singer, Anupam Roy and the duo got divorced in 2021. For their big day, Parambrata and Piya wore simple traditional attire, and their home was well decorated with flowers.
The first snap was a candid shot, as Parambrata couldn’t take his eyes off his wife, Piya, and kept blushing, while she was signing a paper, probably the registry document. They were seen sitting on a couch. The actor wore a rustic-hued kurta and a green-hued jacket, which he paired with cream-hued pyjamas.
Piya, on the other hand, dazzled in a white and red saree, complementing her look with gold jewellery. The second picture was all things candid as the newlyweds smiled, while in the third one, the duo held each other’s hands.
