    Electronics Brand Loewe Taps David Guetta for Luxe New Headphones Launch

    David Guetta is lending his face — and ear — to a new campaign with luxury German electronics maker Loewe.

    The celebrated DJ has been announced as the new global ambassador for Loewe, helping to launch their first-ever pair of over-ear headphones, dubbed the “Loewe leo.” Guetta was on hand to kick off the partnership at a party in Ibiza this week, with journalists and friends of the brand invited to watch the DJ perform at his long-running Monday night residency at island hotspot, Ushuaïa, in addition to a private lunch and product demo with Loewe audio engineer, Bear Clark. The two were joined by Guetta’s longtime business partner Raphaël Aflalo, Loewe CEO Aslan Khabliev and other VIP guests at the events.

    Loewe says Guetta actively consulted on the new headphones launch, drawing on his decades of experience with headphones not just on stage, but in his everyday life. To wit, the Loewe leo merges audiophile-quality sound with a contemporary, fashion-forward design that should make it a hit with listeners and luxury aficionados alike.

    “Moonlight beige” colorway

    The new headphones deliver HiFi sound with support for Dolby Atmos and spatial audio technology, for a more immersive and wide-ranging soundstage. During a hands-on testing session in Ibiza, users commented on the incredible balance of hi, mid and low range sounds, with impeccably clarity throughout. While bass is powerful — as befitting a pair of headphones used by a top DJ and dance producer — the low-end is taut and punchy without dominating the track (Users can also customize audio settings through the accompanying Loewe app to best enhance the genre of music they’re listening to).

    Loewe calls the leo headphones a “standalone HiFi audio solution,” integrating a high-end DAC, amplifier and 50mm drivers into its fine-tuned acoustic housing. The driver features a diaphragm crafted from OCE (Olefin Composite Elastomer), a type of synthetic fiber designed for sound. “With its fast response and natural damping,” a press release explains, “OCE delivers clear vocals, detailed highs, and smooth, controlled bass, ensuring a balanced and immersive listening experience.”

    In addition to the audio features, the new Loewe headphones offer adaptive noise cancellation as well as transparency mode. Smart features like voice assistant support and real-time AI translation makes these cups as forward-thinking as they are practical. Battery life is excellent, with up to 65 hours of playtime on a single charge. And everything is housed inside a chic aluminum frame with sleek and ergonomic leather earpads.

    Still, the focus is always on the music, and Guetta says Loewe — which has been a leader in the audio-visual space for more than a century — delivers on all fronts.

    “For me, sound is everything — it’s how I express myself and connect with others,” he says. “Loewe leo delivers sound so pure and immersive that it feels like coming home, no matter where I am.”

    Guetta isn’t the only celebrity ambassador for the new campaign. Loewe also tapped global soccer superstar Kylian Mbappé, who has worked with the brand since 2024. While Guetta is seen with the new leo headphones in the “moonlight beige” colorway, the French athlete sports them in a “midnight blue.”

    In a press release, Loewe says the new collaboration “unites two extraordinary talents: one inspiring millions with every move on the pitch, the other creating rhythm for millions across the globe. While their worlds differ, they share a deep connection — sound as the ultimate expression of energy and emotion.”
