Rita Ora has been busy promoting her new song “All Natural,” and on Wednesday, she was spotted out and about in London, wearing a classic footwear look to complement a trenchcoat.

The singer-songwriter went with a pair of kitten heels by Gianvito Rossi, showing love for a trend that’s found quite a few celebrity supporters lately. She wore a creamy white pair with a pointed toe and a short stiletto heel, the latter of which is the hallmark of the kitten style; the heel on Ora’s pair had a distinctly dramatic, tapered outline. The silhouette also included a classic, rounded low-cut vamp, a quintessential feature of a pump.

Adding to the understated shoe look was a pair of sheer neutral-hued socks reaching below the knee, fitting in with the socks and heels trend, which has also been embraced by Ciara and more celebrities.

Ora’s kitten heels matched her ivory-hued trenchcoat, which featured wide lapels, a hemline above the knee and a belt cinching the waist. A pair of white, rounded sunglasses tied together her light color palette.

Kitten heels, a modest formal footwear look evoking midcentury fashion, have found relevance in the 2020s. A more approachable silhouette than the high heel stiletto, the kitten offers a more walkable heel alternative and an aesthetic which is generally more subdued than its taller brethren. And celebrities have been showing love for the look — Jessica Alba recently wore kitten heels from Manolo Blahnik, the brand’s Carolyne style and Lily James stepped out in a Prada pair with raw-cut seams.

As for Ora, her taste in footwear ranges from the classic to the adventurous, with recent styles she’s worn including a Miu Miu sandal with a bejeweled ankle strap, the minimalist Ribbon Stiletto from Gianvito Rossi, loafers accented by bright yellow socks and mesh shoes from Sportmax with a plexiglass wedge heel.

Her song “All Natural” was released on Wednesday alongside a music video.
