Kim Kardashian has all of the confidence after divorcing Kanye West.
The reality star subtly shaded her ex-husband in her French Vogue cover story, published Friday, while discussing her newfound confidence.
The Skims creator, 44, gushed to the magazine about turning 40 in October 2020, saying Kris Jenner told her that “the coming years would be the best of [her] life.”
Kardashian, notably, filed for divorce from West, 48, in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage — and months of split speculation.
“It’s true,” the “Kardashians” star said of Jenner’s prediction. “Only over the past three or four years have I gained this confidence.
“Before, I constantly needed to check with someone before making a decision,” she continued. “Can you imagine? It’s crazy to rely so much on others’ opinions.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum confirmed, “Today, I know exactly what I want. It’s exhilarating.”
She credited part of her newfound confidence to Demna, Balenciaga’s former artistic director.
“I think it was with Demna that things really changed,” the Hulu personality explained. “He doesn’t care what people think, so I learned to do the same.”
While Kardashian did not name West in the wide-ranging conversation, she was vocal during their marriage about his heavy hand in her wardrobe.
“I always thought I had really good style — until I met my husband and he told me that I had the worst style,” the businesswoman quipped in a June 2018 panel discussion.
At the time, she recalled once crying over the Yeezy creator throwing out 250 pairs of her shoes.
“Our whole trade-off was that if I got rid of my clothes, he’d fill up my closet,” Kardashian explained during a 2012 confessional on her family’s show.
Over the years, the law student revealed West’s criticism of her large sunglasses, her “hot” Met Gala looks and more.
The former couple, who welcomed four children during their time together, settled their divorce in November 2022.
West and Bianca Censori tied the knot the following month, with the 30-year-old quickly becoming known for her barely-there ensembles.
Not only did Censori step out in edible lingerie in June — after West reportedly paid her six figures to do so — but she posed in a completely see-through dress four months prior.
According to a lip reader, the songwriter told his partner to “make a scene” before Censori dropped her fur coat at the February awards show.
