I can only describe the sensation of coming out the other side of a long, event-filled London Fashion Week as being put through the washing machine on a high spin cycle—albeit one filled with fabulous clothing, designer handbags, and tiny bottles of Champagne. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it.

Having recently experienced Copenhagen Fashion Week, it was a joy to return to the mothership and witness the uniquely British sensibility on display, both on and off the catwalks. Where Copenhagen had bonnets and cardamom buns, London had track jackets and old man pubs, and a predictably unpredictable weather forecast to boot. From gale force winds to blazing sunshine, you can’t say that the UK doesn’t know how to keep us on our Tabi loafer-clad toes.

When it comes to fashion month street style, however, London really steals the show, particularly when it comes to championing independent and emerging talent. Talia Byre’s bomber jackets and panelled skirts were a common sight across London Fashion Week this season, as were Chopova Lowena’s carabiner skirts and Conner Ives’s upcycled designs.

Vintage clothing is another integral part of the “London look,” and it was impossible to queue up for a show without hearing someone boasting about a leather jacket they sourced on eBay or a pre-loved Paddington bag snapped up on Depop. Call me biased, but no other city does old meets new quite like London.

From striped tops to khaki colorways, scroll down to see and shop our round-up of all the street style trends that dominated London Fashion Week’s spring/summer 2026 edition. Lust-worthy autumn outfit inspiration incoming.
