Ekta Kapoor’s famous serial, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, might have started off on a great note, but the limited series is more dramatic than the first one. In fact, netizens notice how a lot of toxicity in the name of entertainment is shown in the Smriti Irani-starrer show. Ekta promised that the show would tackle modern problems, but it has reverted to the same twisted plots for which Ekta is known.
Netizens call out Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for showing a toxic family life and husband
If you and your family are also avid followers of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2, then you must know that the current track shows how ‘Pari’ manipulated the whole ‘Virani family’ by telling lies about ‘Ajay’ and her family. While ‘Tulsi’ knows the truth and shows her opinion against ‘Pari’. In the latest episode, a toxic side of ‘Mihir’ was shown, who is often hailed as Lord Ram, pushed his wife, ‘Tulsi’, in front of the entire family and left the house. But the audience is not happy with the plotline, and they slammed the makers for fake promises.
One user at Reddit pointed out the whole plot and how ‘Mihir’ is the worst husband of Indian television. The user wrote, “This man is pushing his wife, shouting at her, and I’m sure he would have even slapped her if it were the pre covid era. Ironically, he has filed a case and sent his daughter-in-law and her husband to jail for the very same thing, yet now he’s doing it himself with his own wife. And just two days ago, this man was given the “Best Pati” award in SPA? Seriously? At this point, even Vanraj Shah and Armaan Poddar look much better to him. Then they have the audacity to compare him with Lord Ram in every 2nd episode. Please, at least leave our gods out of this mess and stop equating any psycho or mentally unstable character with them.”
A second one commented, “Mihir, the audacity and the irony. Dude, at one end, you are raging because your daughter was mistreated by her husband and in-laws, and on the other end, you are doing the same to your wife. Slow claps, Ekta lost the plot. Or does she even have one to begin with? Lastly, neither the characters nor the actors are helping too.”
A third user pointed out how ‘Mihir’ tried to slap ‘Tulsi’ twice in the previous season, and wrote, “Oh Mihir almost slapped Tulsi twice in the first season too when she was pregnant with Shobha and Savita and Mihir were busy with Mandira and the fake baby instead of caring how Tulsi felt about the entire situation.”
A fourth netizen pointed, “I don’t remember Aman’s Mihir portrayal but remember Ronit roy one because ive slight memory of that time and he wasn’t like that but when this season started and watched this version of Mihir my mother said that earlier his character was like this only it was afterwards that they changed it and mellowed it down but i think Ekta forget that its not 2000s anymore!”
