Ever since the release of Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***Ds Of Bollywood, released on Netflix, it has been garnering only positive reviews. The star kid Aryan proved his calibre, and the audience is only heaping praises on him. Amid all the buzz, there had been some speculations doing the rounds that Aryan has not directed the series, rather a ghost writer is involved.

However, Anya Singh, one of the stars of The Ba***Ds Of Bollywood, addresses the rumours. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Anya reveals:
“I feel people just want an opportunity to bring another person down. That’s why I say he is so deserving of every good thing everyone is saying about him. He has worked really hard on this project. From 7 in the morning to 11 PM, his energy never dropped. You never saw him sigh. He was always smiling and so focussed.”
Why did Aryan Khan choose young writers?
In the same conversation, Anya Singh revealed that Aryan believed in his vision, and this is one of the main reasons he chose a team of young writers and DOPs instead of veteran technicians. In her words:
“He is a young guy who stuck by his vision. It was very brave of him to do this. He knew there’d be conversations and chatter, but he did not question his vision at any point. I have a lot of respect for how he has stood by his own thoughts.”
Aryan Khan kept the climax a secret from the cast
Till the end of the shooting, the climax was kept hidden. Going further in the interview, Anya revealed that Aryan didn’t tell any actor about the climax and kept the twist a secret. In her words:
“We never read the climax. We were narrated the climax on the day of the shoot. For months, we didn’t know what the climax was.”

Directed by Aryan Khan, the series is co-written by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. Apart from Lakshay Lalwani as the lead actor, the series casts Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and Karan Johar in pivotal roles.
