Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has revised prices across its portfolio following the GST Reforms 2025, passing on the benefits of reduced taxation to customers. The update makes Honda cars more affordable just in time for the festive season.

Leading the price cuts is the popular Honda Amaze, the brand’s most affordable sedan in India. The entire Amaze range now falls below the Rs 10 lakh mark (ex-showroom, Delhi), with prices starting at Rs 6.97 lakh and topping out at Rs 9.99 lakh. Depending on the variant, buyers benefit from savings of Rs 65,100 to Rs 1.2 lakh, making the Amaze a strong contender in the compact sedan space.

Model Variant Old Price (Rs) New Price (Rs) Price Drop (Rs)
    Amaze (2nd Gen) S MT 7,62,800 6,97,700 -65,100
    S CVT 8,52,600 7,79,800 -72,800
    Amaze (3rd Gen) V MT 8,09,900 7,40,800 -69,100
    V CVT 9,34,900 8,55,100 -79,800
    VX MT 9,19,900 8,41,400 -78,500
    VX CVT 9,99,900 9,14,600 -85,300
    ZX MT 9,99,900 9,14,600 -85,300
    ZX CVT 11,19,900 9,99,900 -1,20,000

Notably, the Amaze is the cheapest car in India to feature ADAS – Honda Sensing. Powering the sedan is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine, producing 90bhp and 110Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic. Claimed mileage stands at 18.65kmpl (MT) and 19.46kmpl (CVT).

On the features front, the Amaze packs an 8-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch TFT semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, PM 2.5 cabin air purifier, six-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, and a multi-function steering wheel with ADAS controls. However, it misses out on an electric sunroof.

The sedan also comes with connected tech via Honda Connect, offering 37+ features and a 5-year free subscription.

Built with 45% high-tensile steel, the Amaze offers a strong safety package: six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability and traction control, hill start assist, brake assist, emergency stop signal, and 3-point seatbelts for all occupants – all standard across variants.

The Amaze takes on rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor in the compact sedan segment.
