Rani Mukerji received the National Award for Best Actress for Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. The actress chose to wear a brown-hued monochrome silk saree with a golden border. She styled it with a half-sleeved blouse. However, Shah Rukh was the biggest supporter of her. When Rani took her seat in the venue, Shah Rukh held her saree’s pallu, and made sure that she didn’t get caught in the drape.
In another clip, the actor was seen lovingly fixing her hair while conversing with her. The actor even planted a gentle peck on her cheek. Shah Rukh’s adorable act of support proves he is the star for a reason.

The ceremony also honoured Vikrant Massey as he won the Best Actor trophy for his performance in 12th Fail. On the other hand, veteran actor Mohanlal received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema over the years.

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan won the National Award in the Best Actor category for his 2023 release, Jawan. While his film revived his career, Shah Rukh also received numerous awards, including a National Award, and the prize money was the top perk. However, the actor has received just half the prize money. Yes, he would be getting just Rs. 1 lakh for his achievement.
For those confused, Shah Rukh shared the prestigious award with Vikrant Massey, who won it for 12th Fail. The film is based on the real-life story of a couple. Vikrant and Shah Rukh’s films left the audience highly impressed, and hence they received the award from the Honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu. Shah Rukh and Vikrant also received a medal and a certificate for their award win.
