“I have immense faith in my country, in our abilities and our capabilities. And I think it’s more than high time we showed the world how capable we are,” he said in a recent interview. He highlighted how both sport and entrepreneurship can play a role in shaping India’s identity on the global stage.
One example of this belief is his ownership of the Jaipur Pink Panthers, a leading team in the Pro Kabaddi League. When asked about his most meaningful venture outside of films, Abhishek pointed to his involvement with the team. The Panthers have built a strong and loyal fanbase and have played a major role in bringing the traditional sport of kabaddi into the mainstream.
But his ambitions go beyond sports. Abhishek has also invested in homegrown brands such as Vahdam Teas and Nagin Sauce, both of which are making their mark internationally. “Whether it’s kabaddi, Vahdam Teas, or Nagin Sauce, much of what I do through my family office is built around the Make in India philosophy. It’s something I truly believe in,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Abhishek continues to deliver noteworthy performances on screen. His film career has featured a wide range of roles, from hits like Guru and Bluffmaster to recent projects like Dasvi, Ludo, Bob Biswas, Kalidhar Lapatta, and Ghoomer. His work reflects a balance between commercial appeal and strong, character-driven stories, positioning 2025 as a potentially landmark year in his acting journey.
