NEW DELHI: In an unusual order, Delhi high court directed two squabbling neighbours to serve pizza and buttermilk to children at a govt-run institution as a condition for quashing the FIRs they filed against each other after altercation over their pets turned into a scuffle.Justice Arun Monga observed recently that continuing the case would serve no purpose, while quashing the FIRs would prevent undue hardship, and promote “mutual goodwill and societal harmony”. The bench said distribution of food shall be treated as community service. As one of the complainants is in the business of baking and selling pizzas, the court asked the IO to ensure the quality of pizza is the same as stated in the menu.
