Saweetie leaned on a London label for her latest fashion week turn, wearing Kurt Geiger’s Chelsea sandals to the Tolu Coker Newgen presentation on Sunday in London.

The Chelsea, one of Kurt Geiger’s core styles, is cut with a narrow vamp and ankle strap finished with a gold buckle. A gilded eagle head crest sits at the toe, the house’s signature emblem. Its 3.35-inch, slightly curved heel offered a practical lift, sharpening the line of the sandal without pushing into stiletto extremes.

The rapper’s footwear run this September has centered on black evening heels, each with its own distinct twist. Earlier in London, she embraced the slingback revival with a pointed pump, and days before in New York, she punctuated a lingerie-inspired minidress with Rene Caovilla’s sequined Chandelier pumps. The Geiger pair sits between those extremes: stripped back compared to Caovilla’s jeweled wrap straps, but still defined by embellishment through the crest hardware.

Coker, one of the British Fashion Council’s Newgen recipients, staged her presentation with layered tailoring and textured volumes. Saweetie matched the energy in a white cropped blouse with puffed sleeves and a black tie, paired with pleated faux-leather shorts from the designer. A leather cap, silver hoops and her signature long nails kept the look graphic with an edge.

Her sandals also continue Kurt Geiger’s positioning as a go-to for accessible glamour in the British market. Priced at $188, the Chelsea has become a steady evening option, bridging high-street attainability with house iconography. For a label that often features bold pumps and rainbow crystal embellishments, the pared-down silhouette, with its singular crest detail, puts Geiger’s versatility on full display.

From pointed slingbacks to chandelier stilettos, each outing has showcased a different register of black heel — streamlined, ornate and now emblematic. It’s a rotation that mirrors the adaptability of the silhouettes themselves, moving between front rows, after parties and now the incubator space of Newgen.
