Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, the couple behind the LVMH Prize-winning Marques’Almeida, were in the mood for something lighter than their signature distressed denim for spring 2026.

They devoted a big proportion of their collection to pastel, flowy dresses, some layered and adorned with watercolor floral prints, a response to what feels like a potentially volatile time, the couple said.

The collection then moved on to darker tones with more structured but lightweight materials like satin and sheer voiles on an array of day-to-night ensembles before finally touching on high-meets-low denim, some heavily washed, some embellished with floral motifs.

The show took place on the 59th floor of 22 Bishopsgate, London’s second-tallest skyscraper, which is soon to become a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.

The space comes with a sprawling view of the London cityscape, but what was more impressive was how the brand kept the clothes grounded in reality, with models of all ages and body shapes, one pregnant. It showed fashion in its truest form: garments that are made to last and be passed down through generations.
