Jimmy Kimmel’s show will be returning after ABC suspended him for his comments on Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

The Walt Disney Company issued a statement Monday confirming that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will be back on air Tuesday.

“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” the company explained in the statement.

“It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Kimmel’s eponymous show was suspended last week after he discussed Kirk’s suspected assassin, Tyler Robinson, during his monologue.

“The MAGA gang are desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said at the time.

He then ripped President Donald Trump for talking about White House renovations when reporters asked him to comment on Kirk’s death.

“He’s at the fourth stage of grief: construction,” Kimmel joked. “This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he calls a friend. This is how a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish.”

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr immediately threatened to launch an official investigation into Kimmel’s remarks. TV station conglomerate Nexstar Media also put out a statement saying they would pull Kimmel’s show.

ABC swiftly announced that the television program would be “pre-empted indefinitely.”

Following Kimmel’s ousting, Trump took to Truth Social to celebrate Kimmel being “cancelled,” calling the move “great news for America.”

Kimmel, 57, was reportedly “livid” over getting the boot — with sources saying that he hasn’t been happy with the network for some time now.

“Jimmy is pissed over the decision to suspend him and the show and he isn’t going to take this lightly, as he is actively looking for ways to get out of his contract,” a source told the Daily Mail, with another insider saying they had “never seen Kimmel this angry.”

Meanwhile, Kimmel’s cousin Sal Iacono shared on “The Bill Simmons Podcast” earlier Monday that there were “a couple of bombshells” still coming — but that the TV personality would be “just fine.”
