Bollywood fans have been celebrating the news of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reuniting on the big screen after nearly two decades ever since filmmaker Priyadarshan announced his 98th directorial venture Haiwaan. Produced by KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films, the much-awaited thriller is already stirring excitement with the release of behind-the-scenes (BTS) images from the sets.

The pictures offer a glimpse into the film’s high-intensity shoot, and the buzz has only amplified with confirmation that nearly 40 percent of the movie has been completed. Major portions have already been filmed in outdoor schedules across Kochi, Vagamon, and Ooty, setting the tone for what promises to be a visually gripping cinematic experience.
Haiwaan marks the return of the iconic actor-director duo of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, with Saif Ali Khan adding to the star power of this thriller. Their reunion after 18 years has sparked nostalgia among fans who saw the pair in hit films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Yeh Dillagi.
Adding further intrigue, the cast also includes Saiyami Kher, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and veteran actor Boman Irani in significant roles. Reports suggest that Priyadarshan, known for his keen eye for suspense-driven narratives, is also in talks to bring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for a cameo appearance. This move would serve as a nod to the filmmaker’s Malayalam thriller Oppam (2016), starring Mohanlal, which is considered one of his standout works in recent years.
The film is jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Fenn, with KVN Productions backing it in collaboration with Thespian Films.
