Billionaire Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, got candid about her finances after kickstarting her modeling career earlier this year.
“I’m financially independent,” the 21-year-old shared at Saturday’s Teen Vogue 2025 Summit.
“I’m making money now. Pre-Teen Vogue [cover], no. People have a lot of assumptions, and you just kinda have to deal with that.”
Wilson was featured on the March cover of the fashion magazine, where she weighed her career options.
“I haven’t made any money from being famous at all,” she told the outlet. “I have made zero dollars and zero cents. I do live in a lot of people’s heads rent-free, though.”
At first, she shared that she aspired to become a model before admitting that she once considered making a living by streaming on Twitch.
However, Wilson said it would be her “absolute dream to be on a reality show.”
Earlier this month, Wilson also addressed her finances, telling The Cut that “people assume [she has] a lot of money,” but she lives with several roommates to save.
“I don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars at my disposal. My mom is rich, right? But, obviously, the other one is unimaginable degrees of wealthy,” she said, referring to her father.
Wilson claimed she doesn’t have a “desire to be super-rich” like Musk, but is “much more fortunate than most people [her] age in Los Angeles.”
In May, the social media personality, who is transgender, made her runway debut at a “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” Season 10 event in New York City.
Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” obtained footage of Wilson flipping her hair and busting a move as onlookers cheered.
The following month, it was revealed that she would be starring in Pattie Gonia’s “Save Her!” drag show in Los Angeles.
At the time, Wilson gushed over “performing in drag for the first time,” writing via Instagram, “AHHHH I’m so excited.”
By September, Wilson made her New York Fashion Week debut at a “Miss USA 1991” event hosted by designer Alexis Bittar.
“I purposely cast each contestant to represent a US state where trans rights are under assault,” Bittar told Page Six as Wilson sported a “Miss South Carolina” sash.
Musk was married to Vivian’s mom, Justine Wilson, from 2000 to 2008, and the exes share six children.
