Alabama Barker set the record straight on why she revealed her pregnancy loss after critics accused her of attention-seeking.
“The idea that I’d ever share something so personal for attention is insane,” the 19-year-old wrote via a since-deleted Instagram Story, per the Shade Room.
“Accident or not, I don’t need to prove myself by posting. My journey is my own, not a performative and not because someone else shared theirs,” she added.
Reps for Barker weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The teenage daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker spoke out after seemingly announcing she had “lost” her baby in a now-deleted TikTok post.

One clip showed Alabama caressing her bump in the reflection of a glass door.
She shared additional footage of herself crying.
The influencer later took to Instagram to tell her 2.2 million followers that she was “deleting” the platform “for a little while.”
Alabama’s Instagram hiatus was short-lived as she announced Saturday she would be live-streaming on Twitch on Sept. 27.
The singer’s grand reveal comes after Bhad Bhabie accused her of being pregnant with Tyga’s baby and having relations with Soulja Boy in January.
At the time, Alabama responded to the allegations via TikTok, saying, “Let’s clear this up. I never in my life have remotely been near Tyga.”
“I’ve also never been pregnant, nor do I know Soulja Boy. The end,” she added.
The “Heartbreaker” songstress previously dated UCLA football player Scooter Jackson, whom she accused of cheating in March, per Complex.
Alabama appeared to confirm that she had a new man in her life via TikTok earlier this month when she shared a care package she made for her rumored boyfriend’s birthday.
