Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has launched the Ace Gold+ diesel mini-truck at a starting price of Rs 5.52 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as the most affordable diesel model in the iconic Ace range, the new variant is designed to deliver strong performance with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in its segment, targeting small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The Ace Gold+ comes equipped with Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology, which eliminates the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This not only reduces recurring expenses but also ensures compliance with the latest emission norms—making it both cost-efficient and eco-friendly.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, “Since its launch over two decades ago, the Tata Ace has consistently transformed last-mile mobility across India. With every upgrade, it has evolved to offer advanced technologies and versatile features. The launch of the Ace Gold+ continues this legacy—delivering a solution that simplifies business operations, enhances profitability, and reinforces our commitment to nurturing India’s entrepreneurial spirit.”
Powered by a turbocharged Dicor diesel engine, the Ace Gold+ produces 22bhp of power and 55Nm of torque. It offers a payload capacity of 900kg, multiple load deck options, and is built for diverse applications ranging from logistics to small-scale goods transportation.
The Ace Gold+ joins Tata Motors’ extensive small commercial vehicle (SCV) portfolio, which includes the Ace Pro, Ace, Intra, and Yodha, covering payloads from 750kg to 2 tonnes and available in diesel, petrol, CNG, bi-fuel, and electric variants.
Customers will also benefit from Sampoorna Seva 2.0, Tata Motors’ lifecycle support programme that includes AMC packages, genuine spare parts, and 24×7 roadside assistance. Backed by a nationwide network of 2,500+ service outlets and the Star Guru ecosystem of trained technicians, the Ace Gold+ is positioned as a reliable, profitable, and accessible choice for businesses.
