Sahher Bambba plays Karishma Talwar, the daughter of superstar Ajay Talwar, portrayed by Bobby Deol, in The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Notably, Sahher began her acting journey with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, directed by Sunny Deol, which also introduced his son, Karan Deol, to the silver screen.
Sahher Bambba opens up on working with Bobby Deol in The Ba***ds of Bollywood; says, “I’ve always respected his work. My mom is his biggest admirer”
In an interview with the Times of India, Sahher mentioned, “I met Sunny sir when I was shooting with him for my first film. They literally became like family, because we spent so much time in Manali, just workshopping and other stuff, and much later we got into the shoot. So, by the end of it, it was really like a family kind of atmosphere. I happened to meet Bobby Sir, Abhay Sir, but that time was very brief.”
She further added, “And I still recall when Aryan informed me that Bobby Sir would be portraying my father. I thought, life is truly coming full circle, just to share the screen with Bobby Sir. I’ve gained so much knowledge, and I’ve always respected his work. My mom is his biggest admirer.”
The Ba***ds of Bollywood follows the journey of Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious outsider striving to make a name in the Hindi film industry. The series delves into the chaotic and often humorous world of Bollywood, offering a satirical take on the industry’s dynamics.
The show features a stellar cast, including Lakshya, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anyaa Singh, and Vijayant Kohli. Notable cameos by Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh add to the show’s appeal.
