The Golden Globes won’t take place until next year, but there is already so much information about the award show. The 83rd Golden Globes is adding a new primetime special called Golden Eve to kick off Golden Week, leading up to the awards.

When will the 2026 Golden Globes air?
The 2026 Golden Globes will air live on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 8/7c on CBS. The broadcast is scheduled to run for three hours and end at 11/10c. The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton in California.
How can you watch the 2026 Golden Globes?
The Golden Globes can be watched live on CBS. Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will have access to stream the awards via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live but will have access to on-demand the day after it airs.
Who is hosting the 2026 Golden Globes?
Golden Globe, Grammy, and Emmy-nominated comedian and actress Nikki Glaser will host the live broadcast for the second time. She also hosted the 2025 awards.

What is Golden Week?
Golden Eve is a new primetime special honoring the recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award that will kick off Golden Week. This will air on Thursday, January 8 at 8/7c on CBS and stream on Paramount+. It was announced on September 18 by CBS and Dick Clark Productions.
The special will feature curated career retrospectives, never-before-seen footage, and in-depth conversations with the honorees, who have not yet been announced.
Golden Week is a celebratory week-long event that will be held before the awards across Paramount networks. “We are so excited to expand our partnership with CBS and bring the Golden Globes to an even wider audience across the Paramount portfolio,” Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, said in a press release.
