Kajol revealed whether Karan Johar will be launching Nysa Devgn or not
In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Kajol was asked if her children, Yug and Nysa, had been offered films. The host also jokingly said to Kajol if Karan Johar had called her to ask, “Bachche ready hain?” Kajol revealed that she has received a few phone calls. However, talking about her daughter. Nysa, specifically, the actress stated that Nysa not currently interested in films. Kajol was quoted as saying:
“1-2 phone aaye hain. But, I think currently, my daughter is definitely not coming into films, and if she wants to do whatever she wants, she will tell us, and we are with her 100 percent, whatever she wants to do.”
Previously, at News18’s Rising Bharat Summit 2025 as well, Kajol had addressed whether Nysa wants to join the film industry. She had stated that her daughter has made up her mind not to join Bollywood. Talking about if Nysa would be seen in films, Kajol had shared :
“Bilkul nai. No, I think… she has just turned 22… I think she has made up her mind that she won’t be joining films for now.”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn started dating in 1994 after meeting on the sets of their film, Gundaraj. Then, in 1999, the two tied the knot and got married in a Maharashtrian wedding ceremony. “She loves baking these days. So currently, she wants to become a chef. I have to admit she makes amazing brownies.”
