Netflix has dropped its official trailer for Victoria Beckham, a three-part docuseries hitting the streamer Oct. 9.
In the footsteps of her husband’s record-breaking success telling his story with 2023’s Beckham series, the fashion mogul is getting equally as candid in her new show, produced by the same team who worked on Beckham and Michelle Obama’s Becoming.
The trailer, released Wednesday, shows Victoria getting emotional as she discusses having to prove herself as a respectable name in the fashion world following Spice Girls fame. The program is set to build up to the biggest show of Beckham’s life and features the likes of Eva Longoria, Anna Wintour, and, of course, her ex-soccer star husband David Beckham.
“I want my kids and David to be proud of me,” she says in the trailer. “It’s taken so long to get to this point. I’m not gonna let it slip through my fingers again.”
A synopsis for the series reads: “From the teenager who restyled her school uniform, to the Spice Girl who fought to be accepted by a notoriously demanding fashion industry, Victoria Beckham is the story of resilience, reinvention and self-discovery.”
Victoria Beckham is produced by Studio 99 and Dorothy Street, and directed by Nadia Hallgren. Nicola Howson, Julia Nottingham, Anders Christian Madsen and Nadia Hallgren are executive producers.
