Jenny Hal kept the entire world on their toes with The Summer I Turned Pretty, releasing one episode every week, keeping the fans deprived enough to keep them hooked. The intrigue of what happens next and the sleepless nights, always wondering what the next quest of idiocy, ‘Isabel Conklin’, will be, has been quite the global bonding experience.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 started on an extremely predictable route in the first chunk of the season, given that Jenny was shadowing the trajectory of her books in an inspired fashion. However, the last push of episodes has left the fandom in a state of limbo. However, did ‘Conrad’ and ‘Belly’ get their happy ending after she spent a good chunk enjoying her Paris era?
After ‘Conrad’ visits Paris to find his beloved ‘Belly’, he finds out that she had already broken up with ‘Benito’ six weeks ago. However, as our favourite couple reunites and spends a romantic evening, doubts cloud ‘Belly’s’ mind as she wonders whether their love was real or just based on family grief. Nonetheless, ‘Belly’ finally understands she loves ‘Conrad’ and profusely expresses her love at the train station, stating:
“I choose you of my own free will. If there are infinite worlds, every version of me chooses you in every one of them.”
Will there be a Season 4 of The Summer I Turned Pretty?
The chatter surrounding The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 has been on another level, and fans have been manifesting yet another season. Other speculations suggest a two-part finale will be released, keeping fans on the edge with two episodes dropping on September 17, 2025, instead of one and even a feature film-length goodbye to the series.
On the other hand, several self-acclaimed easter egg specialists have uncovered that another episode or even a season seems like a pretty solid option. However, through the noise, the only thing that seems to be certain is that Paris probably won’t be the location for ‘Bonrad’s’ reunion. The most popular theory so far is how seeing ‘Belly’ in her new life will force ‘Conrad’ to realise that he has been holding onto a ghost.
Another time jump is being anticipated, following which a sudden health crisis for her father will bring ‘Belly’ back to the United States, only to reveal ‘Connie’ baby is the doctor treating her. Well, now that the ending is clear for Season 3. It’s a bittersweet moment for the fans, as so far there is no word on Season 4 and going by the book by Jenny, the story is pretty much complete.
