The recently started reality show, Rise and Fall hosted by Ashneer Grover has been grabbing a lot of attention because of its intense fights, drama and ruthless gameplay. But the latest episode took a different turn. Amid all the fights and controversies, Arjun Bijlani, who is a popular television actor, got emotional while thinking about his wife and their son.
Arjun Bijlani couldn’t hold back his tears thinking of his family
In the recent episode of Rise and Fall, Arjun Bijlani was seen sitting on the sofa and crying because he was missing his wife, Neha and his son, Ayaan. While breaking down, the Naagin actor admitted, “I don’t think I am meant for this show.” After seeing Arjun cry, his fellow contestant, Nayandeep Rakshit hugged him tight and tried to comfort him. Nayandeep was quoted as saying:
“So proud of you yaar. Arjun, you are a good father, but you are a good human being. Aap aise situation me bhi kabhi ulta pulta nahi bola. You have maintained the decency. Don’t cry, you’ll win this for Ayaan.”
Later, a reel was posted on Arjun Bijlani’s Instagram handle, which showed him crying on the show. Along with the reel, a heartfelt message was penned, which mentioned that his tears were not his weakness, but a proof of his strength and the love he holds. The caption can be read as:
“Inside the house he may be playing the toughest game of his life, but behind the star is a father missing his son and a husband missing his home. The tears you saw today aren’t weakness they’re proof of his strength, his love and the values he holds close. In every challenge he remains a true fighter and an even truer family man.”

Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami’s love story
Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami are one of the most loved couples of Indian television. Reportedly, the couple first met almost two decades ago through Neha’s aunt. Arjun often describes it as ‘love at first sight’. In 2013, the couple tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony. Arjun often credits Neha for being his emotional anchor, especially during challenging times. In 2015, the couple had welcomed their first child-son, Ayaan.
Despite their strong bond, the couple found themselves in the middle of a controversy in 2025. Before joining Rise and Fall, Arjun had shared a cryptic post, in which he talked about a ‘difficult discussion’. The video soon led to rumours about a possible divorce with Neha.
