Popular Haryanvi actor, Uttar Kumar, on September 15, 2025, was detained in relation to the alleged rape of a singer aged 25. Although Uttam was soon detained, he did complain of not feeling well, and according to a report by The Times of India, the actor was taken to a private hospital by the police. The DCP in charge, Nimish Patil, in an interview with the PTI, had shared that Kumar would again be taken into custody after he is declared medically fit by the team of doctors.
Well, the cops stated that the singer on July 18, 2025, did file a complaint and alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Kumar between the dates of January 1, 2020, and July 31, 2023. He made the pretext of giving her movie roles and also promised a fake marriage. The singer and actress tried to end her life by setting herself ablaze next to the UP CM’s residence back in Lucknow on September 6, 2025.
