Kristin Davis admitted that she was caught off guard when it was announced that “And Just Like That” was ending after three seasons.

The actress, who portrays Charlotte York, told Drew Barrymore on the latter’s daytime show Tuesday that it was “definitely true” that she and her castmates “didn’t know” the HBO series would be coming to an end.

“Our commitment that we had made was a three-year commitment to each other, so we knew that part, but I just assumed that we were going to keep going. That’s how I am,” she said.

Reps for Davis, 60, weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Last month, showrunner Michael Patrick King revealed that the “Sex and the City” revival sequel was abruptly ending.

He shared via a statement that while writing the Season 3 finale, “it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.”

King stated that he and Sarah Jessica Parker, who portrays Carrie Bradshaw, avoided announcing the news until the final episode wrapped on Aug. 14 to not “overshadow the fun of watching the season.”

Davis and Bradshaw starred in the drama alongside Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbes.

The leading ladies mourned the show’s ending via Instagram in August, with Davis writing, “I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love.”

Parker, meanwhile, gushed over the “joy, adventure, and the greatest kind of hard work” that went into filming the show.

“I am better for every single day I spent with you. It will be forever before I forget. The whole thing. Thank you all,” the “Hocus Pocus” star wrote.

Nixon shared several behind-the-scenes photos from filming, saying that the show “was such an exciting and life changing part of the new, fabulous, middle aged incarnation” of “Sex and the City.”

The show explored the trio’s characters navigating through aging, alcoholism, death and gender.

Notably, Kim Cattrall, who portrayed Samantha Jones in the original series, didn’t revive her role in “AJLT” due to her feud with Parker.

However, the actress made a cameo in the second season finale.
