“Orange Is the New Black” star Dascha Polanco is coming out with new music.
The actress who starred in Lin Manuel Miranda’s film, “In The Heights” told Page Six she’s gearing up to drop her debut single.
“I’m gonna release a single soon,” she teased at the Bronx and Banco runway show this week. “It’s dance world music. I am singing and rapping.”
Polanco also gushed over the sexy looks from the Aussie label, which featured feathered, lace, and fringe on the catwalk.
“It has glitz, glam,” she told us. “It feels good, it makes you feel sexy… [Designer Natalie DeBanco] wants to dress all sizes of women, include all women. The fabric, there’s stretch, there’s something for everyone.”
Designer DeBanco told us she personally tests each design to ensure the fits work across sizes.
“I try every single dress and make sure that everything fits and looks great,” she said. “I’m not a sample size, so I want to make sure every girl can wear it — not just extra small, but extra large and bigger. I just want to make sure it’s comfortable and it fits the right way. A dress can be sheer and have many cutouts, but it has to be intentional.”
DeBanco said she’s planning to open new stores in Miami, Fla., and the Hamptons, where she also owns a home. She has also expanded the brand to include purses.
Also spotted sitting front row at the label’s show: Saweetie, fresh off performing at the brand’s party at the Paradise Club at the Times Square Edition, Victoria Justice, Nicky Hilton and Alexandra Richards.
