While Adam Scott, who plays ‘Mark Scout’ in the acclaimed series, continues to receive appreciation for his impressive performance, the actor himself credits that he owes his success to the lady of his life, his wife, Naomi Scott.
Naomi, though often away from the spotlight, has been a constant force in Adam’s journey both personally and professionally. The couple not only share a life together but have also collaborated in Hollywood.

Naomi Scott is a TV and film producer who has been working in the industry since the early 2000s. She made her start in late-night television with Jimmy Kimmel Live! before moving on to producing films such as Fun Mom Dinner and Other People. Both films premiered at Sundance. Alongside Adam, she co-founded Gettin’ Rad Productions. It is known for producing quirky and heartfelt projects like Adult Swim’s The Greatest Event in Television History.
Interestingly Naomi has done some acting work, but is often mistaken for another Aladdin and Power Rangers actress, Naomi Scott. Adam once joked about the confusion when his wife and the actress finally met at Elizabeth Banks’ birthday party. He called it “an epic, historic moment forever etched in time.”
Adam Scott and Naomi Scott’s love story spans over decades
Adam and Naomi Scott’s love story dates back to the late 1990s. They first crossed paths at a bar on Sunset Boulevard in 1998 through a mutual friend. While Naomi admitted she wasn’t impressed when she first heard Adam was an actor, her opinion quickly shifted after seeing his performance. Recalling the moment in a conversation with Vulture, Adam once said, “Naomi left promptly.” In turn, Naomi explained her situation saying,“I heard ‘actor.” But gradually they fell in love and after nearly seven years of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2005. Speaking to SheKnows in 2019, he said:
“I couldn’t do it without Naomi. We have a great partnership at home and professionally, so it makes the family juggling act that much easier when we can all be together.”
Adam and Naomi both hail from Northern California, and together they built an adorable family and their home. They are now parents to two children, son, Graham and daughter, Frankie. But the couple has chosen to keep the kids away from the limelight. Family has always remained at the center of their choices. Naomi once revealed to SAG Indie that starting their production company was born from a desire to balance work with parenthood. In her words:
“I realized the hours I was going to be working on someone else’s show were going to be so great that I was going to not see not only my child but also my husband. So we hatched a plan one night.”
