Kajol and Twinkle Khanna attended the fun-filled launch of Two Much With Kajol And Twinkle at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. They were joined by Nikhil Madhok, director and head of originals at Prime Video India and Mrinalini Jain, Group Chief Development Officer at Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India. As expected, Kajol and Twinkle stole the show with their witty one-liners and rarely got serious.

When asked what warning was given to the guests before they appeared on the show, Twinkle Khanna said in her trademark style, “I told them to leave their dignity behind and come out with their best lines (laughs).”

Kajol added, “There’s a lot of laughter and a lot of fun. But what is nice about it is also the fact that our guests have spoken about their viewpoints in the nicest possible way with the coolest questions! Kudos to all of them because they have spoken so, so very well and from the heart and mind, though not (always)!”

Twinkle Khanna agreed, “What is special about our show is that while there’s a lot of laughter and joy, there’s also a sort of unravelling of psychological layers, layers of our society and viewpoints. We try to go a little bit deeper than other chat shows. That is our USP. We have fun, it’s irreverent, but it’s also not frivolous at all. It’s got some gravitas.”

When asked about the favourite guests, Kajol at first said, “Our two most favourite guests on the show have to be Salman and Aamir.” She then changed her reply, “Actually, my favourite guest on the show was Govinda. I have to say that he was so super entertaining. It’s not that the others were not nice, but Govinda is Govinda! Nobody could argue with that. He’s a trend; he’s an icon, all of it!”
