Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, director Shashank Khaitan and producer Apoorva Mehta attended the trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari at a multiplex in Mumbai. As expected, Rohit Saraf was asked about the money shot in the teaser, featuring him getting down from a helicopter and walking in slow motion. It became clear that the makers paid a homage to a similar legendary shot of Shah Rukh Khan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).

Rohit Saraf was asked whether he was aware of the comparisons. The dashing actor smiled and asked, “Do you think that I would not see it? You get compared to the biggest superstar in the world, and do you think I will not see it?”
He added, “It is a huge honour. Honestly, it is an honour to get a shot as iconic as that. I want to thank Shashank sir and the entire team at Dharma for giving me that chance. It is going to be one of the most special shots ever. It is also a very expensive shot!” Looking at Shashank Khaitan and Apoorva Mehta, he said, “Thank you, sir!”
Rohit further said, “I feel absolutely incredible and I also got a lot of love for it. Hence, I am very happy.”
The other memorable moment featuring Rohit Saraf from the event was when he was asked if he had ever gone to insane lengths to get back at an ex-partner, as shown in the film. Rohit pretended that his mic was not working, prompting Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor to offer their microphones to him. Maniesh Paul’s hilarious jokes added to the fun.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari releases in cinemas on October 2.
