Sonarika Bhadoria is best known for her role as ‘Parvati’ in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. She got married to Vikas Parashar in a grand wedding ceremony in February 2024. Now, the gorgeous actress is all set to embrace motherhood with the arrival of her first child with Vikas. She took to her social media handles and shared adorable beachside photos flaunting her baby bump.
Sonarika Bhadoria announced her pregnancy
On September 14, 2025, Sonarika Bhadoria took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures from her maternity shoot. The actress was dressed up in a sheer white-hued dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves. In the photos, Sonarika was embracing her fully-grown baby bump.
On the other hand, Vikas was dressed up in a white-hued casual shirt with pants. In the first photo, Sonarika put her hands on his arms. She also posted a series of pictures from her mesmerising maternity shoot. Sharing the photos, Sonarika wrote:
“Our greatest adventure yet.”
Sonarika’s wedding look
On February 19, 2024, Sonarika took to her Instagram handle and posted the first pictures from her dreamy wedding. For the big day, the bride, Sonarika opted for a fish-cut lehenga in red. Her outfit featured golden embroidery all over it. Her outfit also had a long trail with scallop detailing. Sonarika accessorised her look with a heavy neckpiece, a nath, a maang teeka and matching earrings.
When Sonarika revealed that Vikas often asked her to lose weight
Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Sonarika revealed that her husband, Vikas keeps motivating her to work. Moreover, the doting wife mentioned that her husband keeps encouraging her to be the best version of herself by eating well and shedding extra weight. Sonarika concluded:
“A lot of times husbands, I don’t know if they do it or they don’t, but ever since we were dating also, he would always tell me that, ‘I feel like you’re putting a little weight on your face and that won’t look nice on camera. So you should sort of go down now’. So he’s the one who will also push me to eat good food and everything. But you know, when he thinks I’m sort of going overboard, he’ll also pull me down. So I’m very lucky.”
Sonarika also revealed how her married life has been treating her. She stated that they are married has not yet synced in. She said:
“Firstly, we keep talking about this very often so that it doesn’t feel like we’re married. Abhi tak woh feeling hi nahi aarahi hai. I think it’s not hit us as yet we’ve also been together for so long now. And the other day I went to dinner at my maasi’s place and my maasa ji said that ‘tum logon ko dekh lagta hi nahi hai tum shaadi shuda couple ho’. I’m happy and I just hope that sort of keeps on going on forever.”
When Sonarika shared her dreamy proposal
It was on May 18, 2022, when Sonarika took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her dreamy beach proposal to wish her beau, Vikas. In the photos, the duo was twinning in white. Sonarika looked stunning in a sheer white dress. She kept her look minimal and tied her hair with a matching white scarf. On the other hand, Vikas looked dapper in an all-white ensemble. The couple’s engagement pictures were gorgeous, and Sonarika’s diamond ring took all our attention.
