In a major step towards transforming competitive exam preparation, the Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) has launched the ‘Maha Mock Test’, billed as the country’s first state-wide mock examination initiative for aspirants of MHT-CET and JEE.
The initiative, led by Klasy Innovations in association with MCOA and presented by CBS, has Prometric as its official technology partner. The mock test aims to replicate national-level examination standards, offering students a realistic testing experience along with remedial insights and remote follow-ups.
Registrations for the Maha Mock Test are open until Children’s Day, November 14, providing ample time for students preparing for the JEE (January & April sessions) and MHT-CET (May).
EQUAL ACCESS AND INNOVATION IN EDUCATION
Speaking at the launch during the Teachers’ Day celebrations and awards ceremony, MCOA President Prajesh Trotsky highlighted that the initiative aims to empower students and transform the learning process.
For the first time, over 5,000 coaching classes are collaborating to provide world-class testing standards, ensuring equal opportunities for students from Mumbai, Nagpur, and even remote areas like Nandurbar.
NEW COLLABORATIONS ANNOUNCED
At the event, MCOA also announced the formation of FORCE (Forum of Registered Coaching Educators) – a unified coalition of eight coaching organisations that will jointly work on advocacy efforts surrounding policy matters, including the proposed Coaching Class Regulation Bill and GST reforms.
In addition, MCOA revealed a collaboration with the CBS Foundation to roll out several support programmes such as group insurance schemes for teachers, aptitude testing for students, and career guidance initiatives.
