It’s been several months since Miu Miu’s latest New Balance sneaker collaboration was revealed through a lookbook with tennis star Coco Gauff and now, the latest footwear from the partnership has finally been released — and quickly sold out in most sizes. 

Three new Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL styles were released Wednesday exclusively from the Italian fashion brand’s stores and website. Each of the new pairs is presented in a different material combination including a Silver/Platinum in metallic leather and mesh, a Black/Anthracite Gray in patent leather and mesh and a Periwinkle Blue in suede and mesh.  

With their signature razor-thin soles and multiple shoelace options, the new metallic and muted suede options are the latest in the popular collaboration’s output which has included mules, pre-distressed looks and shearling-lined styles. 

The partnership between the two brands dates back to 2021, with a 574 collaboration for Miu Miu’s spring 2022 Paris Fashion Week show.

The Miu Miu x New Balance aesthetic has been so popular that it’s trickled down to other more wallet-friendly sneakers. The Boston sportswear brand’s own 204L sneaker features a similar low-profile design and some retailers even styled the model with multiple laces for an inexpensive Miu Miu aesthetic. Like its high-fashion 530 SL counterpart, the 204L has sold out in nearly every iteration thus far.

In addition to the new lifestyle footwear, Miu Miu also created custom kits and special versions of Gauff’s New Balance Coco CG2 signature sneakers for her tennis tournaments throughout the year. 

Priced at $1,220 each, all three pairs of the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL have nearly already sold out. As of publishing, select sizes are still available in the black patent leather colorway. As of publishing, the best option to purchase the metallic silver pair is StockX, where it has asking prices beginning at around $2,000.
