A man has taken breakfast art to an entirely new level, by sketching the Mona Lisa on an omelette. A video documenting his creativity has gone viral on the internet.
The clip, shared on Instagram by ‘artisticeasel’ with the caption “omelette da Vinci”, has clocked over 20 million views since being uploaded online.
In the video, he starts by cracking eggs, carefully separating the yolk, and using it to sketch the iconic portrait. Once the outline is complete, he pours in the egg whites to form the base. The result? A surprisingly neat rendition of the world’s most famous painting, plated on a frying pan.
