Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar have been together for over a decade, and they make a wonderful couple. The duo’s wedding was set, but since they are currently in the Bigg Boss 19 house, it has been postponed. It was only a few weeks ago when Awez proposed marriage to Nagma. Amid this, cheating claims were directed at Awez. Now, Splistvilla contestant Shubhi Joshi has seemingly exposed Awez Darbar, as she accused him of two-timing her. Netizens have mixed reactions to the same.
Shubhi Joshi indirectly exposed Bigg Boss 19’s Awez Darbar
It was only a few days ago that Baseer Ali and Amaal Malik levelled cheating allegations against Awez Darbar. Amid this, Shubhi Joshi sat for an interview with Filmygyan, wherein she revealed that she was seeing somebody after her stint in Splitsvilla 15. When the podcaster asked whether this person is now in Bigg Boss, she quietly nodded ‘yes’. Revealing the entire story, Shubhi shared that she and that person had a deep connection. Without taking his name, Shubhi mentioned that the person used to say things like she was special and even made efforts on his own, while she didn’t do anything. Shubhi said:
“He used to say things like- ‘you are special’, we were very clear that we like each other and we are developing feelings, he kept leading me on. He was the one putting in all the effort and not me.”
In the same interview, Shubhi explained what happened later. She revealed that she once went on a drive with one of her friends, who later told her that the boy had been continuously messaging her to meet with him. Shubhi said that she couldn’t say anything back then and only asked her friend to show her the messages. Shubhi mentioned that when she asked Awez about the same, he gave her a lame excuse, stating that he knew that things weren’t working out between them, thus, he wanted to hurt her by asking her friend out. Awez could be quoted as saying:
“He texted one of my friends and asked her for a meet up and when I confronted, he gave me a very lame excuse. He told me- ‘I deliberately texted your friend because it wasn’t working out between us, so I wanted to hurt you so that you feel bad about it.”
Netizens react to Shubhi Joshi’s indirect digs at Awez Darbar
As soon as the video made rounds on social media, netizens rushed to the comment section and shared their opinions. While some users questioned Awez Darbar and criticised him for cheating on Nagma, others targeted Shubhi, claiming that she was trying to spark controversy to secure a spot on Salman Khan’s show. One user penned, “Jab tak bigboss nai gaya woh, usse pehle tak chup chaaap baithe the?” Another user commented, “The new way of giving auditions for Bigboss.” A third user wrote, “Pehle splitsvilla meh iska connection tha ab bigboss meh hogya.”
Zaid Darbar talked about the cheating claims against his brother, Awez Darbar
During an episode of Bigg Boss, Amaal Malik and Baseer were conversing, during which the latter told the former that Awez had cheated on his girlfriend with two other girls. Later, Zaid came forward to support his brother and mentioned that while fights are natural in Bigg Boss, bringing someone’s personal old topics to the game was not at all justified. He further mentioned that his full support is extended to his brother, and those who are alleging now are not that pure themselves, either.
