On September 12, 2025, Anushka Shetty took to her Instagram handle to share a heartbreaking news with her fans. She posted a picture of a page probably from a dairy, in which she had penned a note. The note conveyed the message that the Ghaati actress is taking a break from social media, only because she wants to reconnect with the world that is beyond scrolling. Her note was:
“Trading blue light to candle light… Will be stepping away from social media for a bit, just to reconnect to the world and work beyond the scrolling, to where we all actually started. See you all soon with more stories and more love…always forever. Smile always, love, Anushka Shetty.”
