The duo shared a black and white photo in which they were seen holding hands while Varun tucked his two fingers inside a pair of tiny shoes. Varun got married to the love of his life, Lavanya Tripathi, back on November 1, 2023, in Italy, in an intimate ceremony. In an interview with Zoom, Varun spoke about his wedding and said that his family is close-knit, and he wanted everyone to enjoy his special day. Varun stated that while his family generally invites 4,000 to 10,000 people, he only invited 100 people to the wedding, so that everyone could dance their hearts out at their wedding soiree.

Varun and Lavanya crossed paths on the sets of their film, Mister, in 2016 and eventually started dating each other. The couple has appeared together in films like Mister, Gandeevadhari Arjuna and Antariksham 9000 KMPH. The duo dated for six years before exchanging rings on June 8, 2023, in Hyderabad.
Initially, both Varun and Lavanya kept their relationship under wraps for five years before making it official in June 2023. Earlier, in an interview with The Indian Express, Varun shared why he and Lavanya had kept their relationship a secret for five years. In his words:
“When we met, we were still discovering and trying to figure out our place in the industry. So we figured that was more important to us at the time rather than falling in love and roaming around the city. So we kind of gave our work the priority in the beginning. Later we understood that it was the right approach for us as we grew as people together.”
