Manolo Blahnik is landing in Southern California this fall.
The luxury label revealed plans to open a boutique in South Coast Plaza, the largest shopping center on the West Coast, in November.
“Opening at South Coast Plaza is a tremendous honour. This historic centre has long stood as a beacon of fashion and culture in California,” Mr. Blahnik said in a statement. “To now have a boutique among its illustrious offerings feels exciting. American clients have always embraced my work with such passion, and I’m thrilled they will now have a new location to discover exclusive styles.”

Created by Blahnik’s store design partner, Nick Leith-Smith Architecture + Design, the boutique will feature a geometric façade characterized by a circular motif that continues through to the interior’s rugs and wallpaper. While the boutique’s exterior will feature two vitrines, inside the shop, a rotating wall with floating shelves will display the brand’s footwear and bags collections.
The store will also feature a full-scale replica of Manolo Blahnik’s workstation, with some of the designer’s favorite art supplies and photography.
British architect Nick Leith-Smith has worked with Manolo Blahnik since 2003. For this store, he was inspired by Josef Hoffmann, an Austrian architect and designer who became a key figure in the history of Modern Architecture, Art Deco and Vienna Secession architecture. Leith-Smith utilized geometric shapes and ornamental detailing to pay tribute to Hoffman, while also nodding to Blahnik’s British heritage.

It’s a new chapter in our story…rooted in elegance and craftsmanship,” the brand’s CEO Kristina Blahnik said.
The store will launch with the brand’s winter 2025 collection.
This marks the second U.S. store opening for Manolo Blahnik in 2025. In February, label brand opened the doors of a new boutique in Miami.
“The energy of Miami is fantastic; the people and the place are so welcoming. The music and madness is really like no other place on earth — the Latin American Cuban influence is omnipresent, which I just adore,” Manolo Blahnik told FN and WWD at the time.
Blahnik also has locations on Madison Avenue in New York as well as in East Hampton.
