Aditya explained, “I think it’s all different. I don’t look at one as easier than the other. An intense role can emotionally hook you in a certain way. That can be what drives you to the film; that inspiration when you’re emotionally locked into something and that energy can carry you through. But it’s just about finding that connection, and that can happen if the writing, the role, and everything align with the right energy.”

On the other hand, he believes lighter characters come with their own demands. “Sometimes you have to just create something out of nothing in a way. So, both are tricky in their own ways and come with their own challenges,” he said.

Looking at his career and what lies ahead, Aditya acknowledged that uncertainty is key to growth. “I think every single role is a challenge. The second I feel like, ‘Okay, I know how to do this role,’ that usually doesn’t lead to a great performance.” He described the best moments as those when an actor teeters on the edge of confidence and doubt. “Even with a simple take you might think you’ve nailed it, but that might not be the one. The magic happens when you’re searching for something out of your reach.”

For Aditya, the thrill of acting lies in never feeling too settled. “It’s not good to feel too settled, like ‘I know how to do this, I know how to act.’ I don’t think that’s a great place to be,” he summed up.

With this approach, it seems Aditya continues to keep his craft alive by embracing challenges, whether in an intense drama or a light-hearted story.
