Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently took a trip down memory lane as her film Brahmastra marked its third anniversary on September 9. On Wednesday, she shared several fan artworks from the movie on her Instagram Stories, showcasing the romantic moments between her and Ranbir’s characters. She captioned the posts with, “#3YearsOfBrahmastra.”

Titled Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, the film emerged as one of the highest-grossing releases of 2022. Beyond its commercial success, the movie held a special place for both Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor personally, as it was during the shoot that the two fell deeply in love with each other.
Rumours of Ranbir and Alia growing close during the making of Brahmastra spread quickly, though neither initially confirmed their relationship. However, shortly after the film’s release, the couple acknowledged that their bond had developed behind the scenes. Alia and Ranbir went on to marry in April 2022 and welcomed their baby girl, Raha, later that year. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva was produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, along with Star Studios, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures.
Brahmastra starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt alongside megastars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy, with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. For those unfamiliar, the film was a fantasy adventure that introduced audiences to the Astraverse—a grand cinematic universe inspired by Indian mythology. It followed the journey of Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor, a young man discovering his powers, with Alia Bhatt as Isha joining him along the way. The film received praise for its VFX, scale, and vision, and the franchise is set to continue in the coming years. Director Ayan Mukerji has already announced Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev.
