The Ba***ds of Bollywood will feature Lakshya (Lakshya Lalwani), Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, and Rajat Bedi as cast. Ahead of the series’ release, several fan theories have emerged, and people have wondered whether the series will feature the famous drama that took place between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar. The trailer was recently shared on the discussion platform Reddit, and netizens have been holding onto the theories, wondering whether it was based on the fallout angle.
The trailer of The Ba***ds of Bollywood revolves around ‘Lakshya’, an outsider who works alongside a superstar’s daughter while navigating power struggles and nepotism within the industry. It also shows how ‘Lakshya’ receives help from his close ones while navigating the whims of a powerful filmmaker and a superstar. The series brings a satirical touch and blends it with the glamorous world, thereby revealing the darker politics inside the industry. Well, watching this to be the plot of Aryan Khan’s series, people couldn’t help but recall a similar real-life incident that happened around Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan, and this was the same reason; people have been wondering if SRK’s son has selected this real incident to show through the camera lens.
One user, on Reddit, penned, “Very Aryan calling Aaryan promo.” Another user commented, “An outsider leaving a Dharma production film and getting banned by KJo, hmm, where have we heard that one before?” A third user wrote, “This lowkey looked like a Kartik and Dharma beef story where the outsider is in a dilemma and targeted from everywhere.”

What happened between KJo and Kartik Aaryan?
It was in 2021 that the buzz about KJo and Kartik Aaryan’s fallout grabbed all the attention. It so happened that Kartik was filming with Janhvi Kapoor for the movie, Dostana 2. Within 20 days of shooting, Dharma Productions announced that Kartik had been dropped from the project, with the actual reason not being disclosed, except for the stated reason of ‘professional circumstances’. Reports claimed that several problems had been occurring, including internal conflicts, which led Kartik to sever ties with Dharma Productions.
