A video documenting the exhausting daily routine of a man in Gurgaon has triggered a debate on social media.

Shubham Parmar, who works in a corporate job, shared the video on Instagram, explaining that he also takes up part-time work with Rapido, creates content, and manages all household chores since he lives alone.

“After nine hours of duty and four hours Rapido part-time job. Job plus Rapido plus content creation plus household plus editing,” read the text overlay on the video.

The video shows Parmar returning home at 2:30 am after a long day of work and his Rapido shift. Instead of resting, he proceeds to wash utensils, clean the kitchen, and start preparing dinner at 3 am.

He is also seen feeding his pet dog, washing clothes, tidying up his room, and finally sitting down for his own dinner while watching television.

Several users were “inspired” by Parmar’s schedule and wished him well, saying, “May your pockets never run dry.” Others were simply amazed at his energy, with one asking, “How are you managing all this?”

However, not all reactions were supportive. Some questioned whether such content romanticises overwork.

“Why is everyone trying to portray their hardships and glorify them for appreciation online? Even I lead a difficult life on a daily basis, my legs don’t work but still I work for an organisation. Each one of us has problems, face rejections on a daily basis, but we work without glorifying it,” a user said.

Another user raised health concerns, advising, “Start getting better sleep. This isn’t healthy for you.”

On his Instagram account, Shubham Parmar also shares videos from his office with the title, “Newly promoted team lead Gurgaon corporate life.”
