Disney+, Hulu, and ABC News have revealed the latest big name artists to join Grace for the World, the upcoming historic free concert from the Vatican City. Two-time Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson and BamBam, a Thai rapper and singer and member of Kpop boyband Got7, join the musically diverse lineup of live performances by led Pharrell Williams and the Voices of Fire Gospel Choir and Andrea Bocelli.
Also set to perform are John Legend, Karol G, Clipse, Teddy Swims, Jelly Roll, The Choir of the Diocese of Rome led by Marco Frisina, and Angélique Kidjo, plus an international choir assembled for the occasion with musical direction by Grammy-winner Adam Blackstone.
The Grace for the World concert will stream live from the instantly recognizable St. Peter’s Square, the heart of the Vatican City. The concert will be live streamed globally on Disney+, Hulu, and ABC News Live on Sept. 13 starting at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT, with a replay of the concert available after the event.
The concert is set to make history, as it will be the first such musical event to be staged at the Vatican. The event will celebrate the Catholic Jubilee Holy Year — the 2,025th anniversary of the incarnation of Jesus Christ — and also mark the closing of the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity, a conference held by the Fratelli Tutti Foundation.
The event is executive produced by Williams, Bocelli, Nova Sky Stories, and Something in the Water, with additional executive producers including Hong Kong billionaire Solina Chau, The Apprentice producers Mark Burnett and Roma Burnett, Elon Musk’s brother Kimbal Musk, and Fever. The live broadcast is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment and directed by Sam Wrench.
