Dexter: Resurrection is the revival of the world of ‘Dexter Morgan’, essayed by Michael C. Hall. The actor rose to fame with the original show, Dexter, and then reprised the role in New Blood. Michael C. Hall, who made his return with Dexter: Resurrection, was previously married to his on-screen sister, Jeniffer Carpenter. However, the duo parted ways in 2011. And in 2016, the star got married once again to a book reviewer and author, Morgan Macgregor. David Zayas, who marked his return to Dexter: Resurrection as ‘Angel Batista’, has been married to actress, Liza Colon-Zayas for 27 years. The couple tied the knot in 1998 and have had notable careers. Liza won an Emmy Award for her performance in The Bear in 2024, and during her acceptance speech, she thanked David for believing in her.
Liza revealed that David had told her to write her Emmy speech, but she didn’t because she didn’t think she would win. The couple also appeared together in the third season of The Bear. In an interview with Variety, Liza shared that she was thrilled to work alongside her husband and see him portray a genuinely good character for a change.
