Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner took their two younger kids to see a movie in Los Angeles on Friday evening.
In photos, the formerly married pair stepped out with kids Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. The “Alias” actress, 53, rocked a casual, makeup-free vibe in a button-down sweater and jeans, while the “Accountant 2” actor, also 53, wore a navy blue hoodie jacket with tan pants and a white T-shirt.
Seraphina wore navy blue athletic pants with a jacket and sneakers, while Samuel donned a short-sleeved, collared gray shirt and black pants.
The group chatted happily while heading into the building’s entrance, where Affleck’s mother, Chris Bolt, waited for them — with Affleck walking ahead of his ex-wife and kids. In a couple of snaps, Garner appeared to look directly at a photographer while flashing a huge smile.
Missing from the family outing was the pair’s daughter Violet, 19, whom they saw off to Yale University last August — just before Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Lopez filed to divorce him.
Affleck and Garner were last spotted out with Samuel and Seraphina in July, when the exes teamed up to take their kids to a Red Sox game.
In a clip shared to X by the MLB at the time, the “Gone Girl” actor donned a green ball cap and plaid shirt while chatting up Garner, who wore a striped T-shirt and messy ponytail.
The former couple was flanked by their children, who appeared to be enjoying the mid-summer baseball outing with their famous parents.
Garner and Affleck married in 2005 and filed for divorce in 2017. However, they didn’t finalize the split until over a year later, in 2018.
Though Garner called Affleck the “love of [her] life” in an interview with Vanity Fair following their 2016 separation, the “Air” star would go on to rekindle a romance with Lopez, 56, to whom he’d broken off an engagement in 2004.
The former couple went on to elope in a romantic impromptu Las Vegas wedding in July 2022, followed by a lavish ceremony for friends and family at Affleck’s Georgia estate a month later.
Lopez — who shares twins Max and Emme Muniz, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony — also called Affleck the “love of [her] life” in her 2024 documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”
The former couple split later that year and finalized their divorce in January.
Meanwhile, Affleck and Garner have continued to amicably co-parent their children — despite Garner’s apparently serious relationship with John Miller, 47, whom she was seen passionately kissing in July.
But a source told Page Six in March, after Affleck was seen embracing Garner during a paintball outing with their kids, that the CaliBurger CEO wasn’t thrilled with their apparent PDA.
The insider told us at the time that Miller “has always been supportive of Ben and Jen’s co-parenting relationship but feels Ben crossed the line.”
They added, “John knows there’s nothing going on between Jen and Ben, but he doesn’t think those photos are a good look and feels it’s disrespectful to their relationship.” According to the insider, Miller “gave Jen an ultimatum.”
“He doesn’t want to see anything like that again or he has no choice but to walk away,” they said.
