Pamela Anderson seemingly denied she’s been involved in a public relations-driven relationship with “Naked Gun” co-star Liam Neeson.
“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” she said at the Deauville American Film Festival in France Friday, where she accepted the festival’s Deauville Talent Award.
“That would be a death sentence,” she continued while on stage, per People. “I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”
She added, “I know I’ll fall in love again and again on screen. That is my job. If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection.”
Of the speculation, she said, “It is the greatest compliment. So please think positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I’m sincere.”
Reps for Anderson and Neeson did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
The former Playboy model, 58, and longtime actor, 73, sparked dating rumors during a romantic, PDA-filled press tour for their comedy over the summer.
A July report claimed the duo was in “a budding romance in the early stages,” according to a source for People. “It’s clear they’re smitten with each other,” they added.
Andy Cohen even weighed in on the seeming romance, saying the “Last Showgirl” star is “just like” Neeson’s late wife — “Parent Trap” actress Natasha Richardson — whom he was friends with before her death.
“She is an independent woman just like Tash was,” he said on his Sirius XM show in July. “She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys.”
Soon after, new reports claimed the co-stars had not been in a relationship, but had instead embarked on a calculated publicity stunt for their film.
Though, an insider told Page Six last Friday that’s not the case. “There was instant chemistry but it never developed into an intimate relationship,” the source divulged to us.
Their friendship, however, is “genuine” and “they will always be friends and have a connection,” the insider added.
A separate insider previously told Page Six that the affectionate red carpet appearances were “very sincere” and not a “fauxmance.”
“They’re not going to show up on the red carpet and be adorable just to be fake, that’s not either of them,” our source explained.
Anderson was previously married to a string of famous faces, including Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon. She was most recently married to Dan Hayhurst, whom she wed in 2020 and divorced in 2022.
The actress shares two sons with Lee.
Neeson was married to Richardson from 1994 until her accidental death in 2009 — she tragically perished after a ski accident. They also shared two sons.
