After leaving a strong impression in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s acclaimed web series Garmi, actor Vyom Yadav is now coming up with his feature film debut in Mannu Kya Karegga. Starring opposite Saachi Bindra, Vyom plays the titular role of Mannu, a character he describes as warm, impulsive, romantic and incredibly relatable.

The makers of Mannu Kya Karegga noticed Vyom’s performance in Garmi and knew he was perfect for the part. Vyom said, “The team had seen my work in Tigmanshu sir’s Garmi and reached out to me for the role. Of course, I still had to audition, but the fact that they had already watched and liked my performance definitely helped. We even did multiple chemistry tests with different female actors before finalizing the pairing with Saachi Bindra.”
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Dehradun, the film captures the innocence of youth, love, and self-discovery through Mannu’s journey. Vyom reveals that playing this role required him to rely more on emotions than technique. Vyom shared, “Honestly, no workshop can prepare you to play a character like Mannu. It’s a role you perform more from the heart than the brain. I even chose to stay at the hostels inside the campus instead of fancy hotels just to live in Mannu’s world and keep the performance as real as possible.”
For Vyom, the transition from his intense role in Garmi to the romantic and charming Mannu has been both refreshing and rewarding. “I feel blessed to have portrayed two contrasting characters within somewhat similar college backdrops. In Garmi, I played a hot-blooded activist, whereas Mannu is lovable, carefree and full of heart. As an actor, you want opportunities to explore different shades, and Mannu Kya Karegga gave me exactly that,” shared Vyom
With its fresh pairing of Vyom Yadav and Saachi Bindra, Mannu Kya Karegga marks a promising new chapter in Vyom’s acting journey. Directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy, Mannu Kya Karegga will release on September 12, 2025 theatrically.
