“Our financial life was over. From an amazing life, it was a complete 360 turn. We used to live in town and that house…but we had to shift from Mahim, like I studied in Bombay Scottish and HR College and suddenly I was in Malad and living in a 1bhk on rent with my mom and brother. There I would take Rs 100 from my mom to travel in train to give auditions. Earlier, we would travel in a car and it all happened overnight. We had sell our own 2bhk house in town in Mumbai. We even had to sell our car. Everything was just gone.”

“The whole culture changed, my friends were from town and here I was lost because I knew nobody. Even to make my first portfolio that would cost Rs 8000, I had to mortgage my mom‘s gold. Later, I realised that more money is needed so I just sold that gold. When I started earning the first thing I did was to take my mom for jewellery shopping.”
